We cancelled our walk on the 3rd of July  due to thunderstorms forecast for most of the day.


Sunday 11th of July we set off for a 10.5 mile walk from Bainbridge in Wensleydale.

This is looking back down towards Bainbridge, the weather was cloudy but pleasant.

Looking down over Semer Water almost all the climbing done now.

Beautiful views all round for us to enjoy....

Heading down towards Thornton Rust, then we went through Worton, Askrigg and back to Bainbridge.         Another lovely day in excellent company thank you all.


Wednesday 14th of July we did a lovely 8.5 mile walk from Brimham Rocks.

Leaving the fabulous Brimham Rocks on a cloudy and very warm day.

The views were amazing

Back at Brimham Rocks we enjoyed a well deserved ice cream. Thank you all for your company looking forward to our next walk.


Saturday 24th July we did an 8.5 mile walk from Stainforth in Ribblesdale.

The weather was fabulous just right for walking

The scenery was beautiful

We enjoyed wonderful  tea and cakes outside the Knights Table at Little Stainforth almost at the end of the walk. Another lovely day walking. 


Sunday 1st August, we did a 10 mile walk in Smardale which is on the Yorkshire / Cumbria border.We met in a small village called Ravenstonedale.

The weather was wonderful and the views were spectacular.

We walked on a disused railway track where the wildflowers were brilliant.

Towards the end of the walk down at Smardale Bridge. Following the walk we enjoyed a lovely meal at the Fat Lamb in Nateby at the end of another wonderful day. Thank you all for your company.


Wednesday 4th August we met in Pateley Bridge for an 8 mile walk

We set off in glorious sunshine up the High Street to the old church.

We had our lunch stop in the sunshine, then the heavens opened and it poured down.

Walking back to Pateley on the river bank, the rain had stopped and we continued to enjoy our walk.

Following the walk we enjoyed another fabulous meal in the POD at Stump Cross Caverns, well worth a visit.


Saturday 14th August we did a fabulous walk up Buckden Pike in lovely weather.

We all enjoyed our walk up to the memorial cross, then we then started our long descent to Starbotton

We ended our walk along the river back to Buckden, this is looking up to Buckden Pike. A brilliant walk thank you all for your company.


Sunday 22nd of August we walked up Great Shunner Fell from Thwaite. The weather was lovely to begin with then we had showers and sunny spells.

The views are stunning in every direction

On our way down we were treated to this beautiful rainbow,  near enough to touch but we couldn't see the pot of gold.

Heading back down towards Hawes now in the distance.  Another great walk thank you all for your company.


Wednesday 25th August - We walked from Pateley Bridge and did a lovely walk to Murreyfield Mines.

The weather was fabulous and the scenery was wonderful.

When we got back to Pateley Bridge we went to our favourite spot at Stump Cross Caverns, in the pod with fabulous food and views, another lovely day.


Saturday 4th of September, we met at Aysgarth Falls for a walk we had to cancel earlier in the year due to bad weather,

The weather was just right for walking, we followed the River Ure, then turned off to start the climb to  Nappa Hall and Nappa Scar.

When we had completed the climb the walk was steady with spectactular views.

Following the walk we enjoyed a super meal at the Bolton Arms at Redmire a lovely end to a lovely day, thank you all for your company.


Sunday 26th September, we did a fabulous walk from Rylstone up to the Obelisk and Rylstone Cross.

The views were brilliant as was the weather

Rylstone Cross is quite a site.

On the way down now with fabulous views all the way. Following the walk we had our first lovely meal at the Gamekeepers Inn, in Threshfield since before the pandemic, looking forward to our next walk and meal.
