Saturday 4th July - We did our second walk from Malham with a group of six members as our numbers are still limited due to coronavirus. 

We did a lovely walk well away from all the crowds, these two photos were ones we took in March when we checked the walk out.

The weather was again better than the forecast and we had a lovely walk.Although we did get a bit wet, here we are towards the end of the walk.

Good to see you all, thanks for your company.


Saturday 11th July, we repeated  the walk from Buckden to Yockenthwaite  with another group of six members.

Here we are almost at the top of Buckden Rake enjoying the fabulous views.

Saturday 25th July, we did a fabulous 10.5 mile walk from Bainbridge in Wensleydale.

The weather, once again, was far better than the forecast  we had a lovely walk with brilliant views.

This is going up the first climb of the day.

We still have only 6 socially distanced walkers.

Another really enjoyable day, thank you all for your company. Looking forward to our walk next Saturday in Wharfedale.


Saturday 1st of August, we set off from Conistone on a beautiful day.

Here we are almost at the top of Conistone Dib.

We headed up to Bare House for lunch.

The views were wonderful.

Another brilliant socially distanced walk with excellent company.


Saturday 8th of August we repeated the Bainbridge walk on a perfect walking day.The views were brilliant and we all enjoyed the sunshine.

There were only five walkers today as one member had car problems on the day and couldn't make it.

Here we are walking down off the moors to Thornton Rust which is another very pretty village.

Following the walk we enjoyed drinks and cake on the village green in Bainbridge. Another fabulous day. Thank you all for your company.


Saturday 15th August we walked from Conistone again with our 2nd group of six walkers. The weather was perfect.

Saturday 22nd August, we left Ramsgill to head up the dale to Middlesmoor.

Just past How Stean Gorge and nearly in Middlesmoor for lunch.

Saturday 29th August, we set off from Kettlewell on a fabulous walk over to Arncliffe and back.

We had lovely views all day long.

High up on the top now, the weather was quite cold and windy.

Looking down on Arncliffe, we now had a lovely stretch along the river to Hawkswick then up and down back to Kettlewell. Thank you all once again for your company. Looking forward to our walk next Saturday in Nidderdale.


Saturday 5th September - We repeated our walk in Nidderdale with a different group on a cloudy but pleasant day.

Friday 11th September we repeated the Kettlewell to Arncliffe walk, the weather was much better.

Another fabulous day, we are still missing having a meal together following our walks due to covid, but glad we can still get out walking in our groups of 6.


Saturday 19th  September, we did a walk in Ribblesdale starting from Stainforth.

We had a lovely lunch stop on top of the hill above Giggleswick, the weather was fabulous and the views superb.

Heading back down towards Stainforth.

Another brilliant day thank you all for your company. Looking forward to our walk in Malhamdale next Friday


Friday 25th September we did a fabulous walk from Calton near Airton

The weather was lovely and we had wonderful views all day.

Thursday the 1st of October, we repeated the Stainforth walk on a fabulous weather day.

As we headed up from Giggleswick toward Feizor we saw this fabulous view of Pen-y-ghent.

We had another great walk, thank you all for your company. Sadly we had to cancel our walk on the 3rd of October due to weather warnings being issued. 


Sunday 18th October we did a lovely walk from Clapham through the Norber Erratics.

We are still walking in groups of six  and socially distanced.

We walked to Austwick and back to Clapham, another good day out.


The walk on the 24th of October was cancelled due to bad weather.   And on the 5th of November sadly we went into lockdown again. Following lockdown we went back into the Tier System which has made it impossible for most of us to visit the Dales.               Looking forward to when we can get together and enjoy our walks and everyones company again.           We would like to wish you all  a very Happy Christmas and a Healthy & Happy 2021 with lots of Lovely Walks.
