Sunday 14th July, we met in Rylstone and walked up to Rylstone Cross, the Obelisk and down to Thorpe.

The weather was perfect for walking, the views fabulous.

Following the walk we had another superb meal at the Gamekeepers Inn in Threshfield. Another lovely day with our group, thank you all for your company. Looking forward to our next walk on the 28th of July in Malhamdale. 


Sunday the 28th of July we set off from Malham to Hanlith, Airton then up to Weets Top. The weather forecast was for rain all day so we were very lucky to just have a bit of drizzle.

These lovely views were taken a few days earlier on our recce.

Sunday 18th of August we set off from Kettlewell for a fabulous walk over to Arncliffe and back.

We enjoyed this wonderful view over Littondale on the way down to Arncliffe....

We had lunch in Arncliffe, here we are in the church porch..

On the road out of Arncliffe we saw these brilliant hay bales, they made us all smile....

Our last look down over Arncliffe....We ended our day with a meal at the fabulous Gamekeepers in Threshfield. Another super day with our lovely group.   Looking forward to seeing you all again on our next walk on the 1st of September in Wensleydale. 


Sunday 1st September, we met in Middleham for a lovely 10.5 mile walk. The weather was brilliant.

We followed the River Cover to Jervaulx Abbey.

Here we are at the abbey, the grounds are just so peaceful,

We walked through the grounds and round to the pretty village of Thornton Steward

Here we are enjoying the sunshine outside the village hall.

At the end of the walk we enjoyed an excellent meal at the Richard the Third in Middleham. Realy glad you all enjoyed the walk, looking forward to our next one on Sunday the 29th of September in Wharfedale. Thank you all for your company.


This walk was moved to Sunday the 6th of October due to road closures and awful weather on the 29th of September. The weather forecast  was dreadful with heavy rain and strong winds expected. However once again we were lucky and kept dry all day and even saw a glimpse of the sun.

We met at Grimwith Reservoir and walked over the moors before coming back to the reservoir and did a complete circuit.

We had a lovely walk.....

Following the walk we drove back to Threshfield and ate at the Gamekeepers which as usual was brilliant. Thank you all for turning up in spite of the awful weather forecast. Looking forward to our next walk in Wharfedale on Sunday the 3rd of November.


Sunday 3rd November we walked from The Gamekeepers Inn in Threshfield and did an eight mile walk over Threshfield Moor.

The weather was a bit misty and damp but it was good to be out.....

Sunday 1st of December, we set off from Linton Falls and walked up through Grassington. The weather was beautiful.

We walked back through Grassington and then drove over to the Gamekeepers at Threshfield for another fabulous meal. Looking forward to our next walk on Sunday the 15th of December.


Sunday 15th of December and we had some snow for our Christmas walk which looked very pretty.

We did a lovely 8 mile walk from Grassington

Here we are heading towards Hebden all well wrapped up and toasty warm.

The views were fabulous...

When we got back to Grassington we went to the Devonshire and had a super meal

This was our last walk of the year, another enjoyable day , thank you all for your company. Look forward to seeing you on our first walk of 2020 which is on the 19th of January.  Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year.
